About Attorney Mitchell
A Miami native, Ms. Mitchell attended Florida State University earning Bachelors and Masters degrees. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with a Juris Doctor (Honors) and was duly admitted to the Florida Bar. Ms. Mitchell commenced her litigation career by serving her community at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, she executed numerous jury and bench trials in the misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony court divisions. She then transitioned into civil litigation practice. Prior to establishing her law practice in 2006, she practiced at two Miami law firms in the areas of Family, Probate, Estate Planning, Complex Commercial, Corporate/Contracts, Personal Injury and Real Estate Transactional and Litigation matters.
During her career, Ms. Mitchell has served with various bar and professional organizations in leadership positions. Ms. Mitchell has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is also a member of the Texas and District of Columbia Bars. She was previously a member of Attorney’s Title Fund and has held the distinction of University Adjunct Professor teaching in the areas of criminology and business law.
